New Prague High School staff and students honored veterans from all around the community today.  Social studies classes hosted veterans to talk with students about their experiences in the military early in the day. The event culminated in a celebration of all veterans in the gymnasium, attended by high school staff, students and community members.  NPHS Student Juliet Garcia shared what Veteran’s Day means to her.  Keynote Speaker Andrea Means Lehman, widow of Marine Lance Corporal Dale Means, spoke about Corporal Means’ service as well as the Veteran’s Memorial planned for New Prague.  The New Prague Honor Guard presented the flags, and the concert choir and wind ensembles honored guests with patriotic music.
