The undefeated Trojan floor hockey team qualified for the state competition that was to take place this weekend. Unfortunately, with the uncertainty of the coronavirus threat, the Minnesota State High School league canceled the tournament.

Typically when NPHS teams qualify for state tournaments, the school holds a pep fest to honor the teams.  Due to the nature of how large the gathering would be, the high school opted to play it safe, not putting more than 1,000 students and staff in the gym together.

The Trojan community wanted the team to know how proud everyone is of them.  NPHS students made this video to show the team their support even though they couldn’t play in the final game.
