The Boys 2019-2020 Hockey season has come to an end. Led by head coach Cory Lonke and assistant coaches Darrin Sawchuk, Michael Bailey, Juno Nagayam and Eric Brever, the team ended the season 6-13-3: 6 wins, 13 loses, and 3 overtime losses.

Despite a losing record, Senior Carson Davis said, “One highlight of the season for me was seeing the team become closer as friends. This season was by far my favorite season because of that.”

Davis is one of nine seniors that are going to be leaving the NPHS hockey team. He believes there is a lot of hope for next year’s team. Optimistic about the team’s future on the rink he said, “Sure, there are some seniors leaving, but the upcoming classes will not have an issue filling those spots. There is a lot of competition and a lot of challenging each other happening out on the ice. I am excited to see what the future of New Prague hockey holds.”
