New Prague High School crowned the 2022 Homecoming King and Queen at the pepfest on Friday, September 30. Congratulations to Seniors Jonny Grams and Annie Zweber.

The pepfest was pure energy with the band warming up the crowd and then leading them in the school song. The concert choir sang the school song and then dazzled everyone with their dance moves when they were joined by the other high school choirs to perform the Bruno Mars song “Runaway Baby.” The Homecoming song was performed by Amara Prochaska, Kadyn Anderson, Phia Huebner and Whitney White. Following that the cheer team led the crowd in the ever-popular “Frankenstein” cheer followed by a dance with stunts.  After the captains of the fall sports were recognized, the fall dance team performed as well.  The final excitement was the teacher dance battle.

The pepfest was followed by the parade that began at 1 p.m. and took Columbus Avenue to Main Street.

That evening the Trojans defeated Rochester John Marshall 55-6 in the football game.  The game was followed by a dance at the high school.
