Being single on Valentine’s Day can suck. It can suck a whole lot. But, it is arguably more fun to spend time with your friends instead. Celebrating Galentine’s Day, a holiday created by gals who don’t have significant others is a great way to spend your February 14th. Having a Galentine’s Day party is fun and easy. All you need is friends, a place to hang out, and maybe some candy. Some fun ideas for things to do at your party include baking goodies, pairing up and giving individual gifts, and watching cheesy romance movies. While watching these movies, it’s very fun to make fun of the cringy scenes, even though you’re secretly wishing it was you. The most important thing this holiday, though, is that you spend time with people you care about. Just don’t be sad if you’re single, be happy you have people in your life who love you no matter what, like all of your gals! At the end of the day, Valentine’s Day isn’t about your significant other and hearts and chocolates and spending money. It is about spending time and having fun with the people you love.
