Swim team competes at state second year in a row

Some boys swim and dive team members competed at the state swim and dive meet Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4. In just their second year of competition, the Trojan boys swim and dive team finished 14th out of 34 teams at the state competition.

Competitors included:

200-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard freestyle relay teams – they placed 16th in the 400 freestyle relay.:

Brandon Panka (10), Willem Serie (12), Alex Dvorak (12) and Jacob Bisek (10).

Alternates for the 200 were Tucker Connelly (10) and Carson Sayler (10).

Alternates for the 400 were Jack Anderson (12) and Jacob Bouley (9).

Additionally, Panko placed 3rd in the 200-yard freestyle and 7th in the 100-yard butterfly at the state competition.

Bisek finished 7th in the 500-yard freestyle and 13th in the 50-yard freestyle at the state competition.
