Kai Ahrens is in her junior year of high school at New Prague. She enjoys reading and writing fiction outside of school. She likes writing because there are stories in her head that should be shared with the world: worlds beyond one's imagination, characters with lives to live, and adventures to be had. She also enjoys creating artwork of various animals and concepts. She is unsure of future plans, but is using her junior electives to help expand her options and possibilities for the future. But one thing is for sure, she is not throwing away her shot.
